The biggest design challenge is to hit a moving target. The all-round transportation e-bike is a difficult product to design. It needs to perform a variety of functions for many different users. We also had to fit a 700wH battery and large motor into a compact frame.

The Vado 2 cargo rack has a lot of jobs to do- 60lbs/27kg capacity, double panniers, top mount, MIK click attachment system, integrated tail light, fender support.
For better packaging, we needed to create a side-entry motor mount. This necessitated side covers that self align. The 700wh battery hinges out from the bottom, with a lever and lock interface conveniently placed on the non-drive side of the bike.
The high capacity rack is compatible with various child seats.
Tero is Vado’s knobbier cousin. Same platform with slightly different geometry and tires happy on rough terrain. Available in standard and step-thru variants.
